Rewarding Marimba Solo to Learn
Learning Todd Ukena's 'Colors' has been a joy! Even as an adult learner, the C Major key and Grade 3 difficulty make the notation very approachable. While it requires dedication to master the expressive rolling on marimba, the effort is worth it. It truly sounds beautiful once you get the hang of it and is a wonderful piece to relax and immerse yourself in.

This is a beautiful piece that needs a high level of musicianship. Although it consists mainly of half notes and quarter notes and is written at a slow tempo, the entire thing is meant to be rolled which takes incredible wrist strength. When played well, it is a gorgeous piece.
