Easy solos
These easy solos will appeal to late-elementary pianists as sightreading practices and exercises or elementary students as jazz solos.

This is worth investigating---and purchasing!
I must thank the National Federation of Music Clubs for bringing this book to my attention. Lee Evans has made a delightful contribution to late-elementary piano with this accessible volume of original jazz pieces. (Although there are very few, if any, eighth notes at this level of music notation, the more adventurous of your students can easily determine how to swing every other quarter note... that alone tells you of this music's infectious quality.) Use this book to introduce your late-elementary students to the joys of jazz... Enjoy!
