This march has been a big hit since its composition in 1914, and it gained special fame after its use in the movie, Bridge on the River Kwai in 1957. This arrangement of the march, for piano four-hands, has an “easy to play” top part (for a student) and a more difficult bottom part (for their teacher, e.g.). It has been somewhat reduced in size to an ABA form, contrasting with the original ABACA form, in order to make it more approachable by an entry level piano student (level 2, perhaps).
