I have endeavoured to keep the vocal range of all the parts well within the capabilities of mature voices or a beginner choir. The melody travels between the parts providing interest for both singers and audience. For added musical adventure, I have very briefly split the 1st and 2nd sopranos at particular points.
Meanwhile, the straightforward, repeating motif in the altos section helps maintain rhythmic security ove which the melody can be fluidly expressed as appropriate to the genre. Overall, whilst there are some modest musical challenges here, there is also a generous amount of repetition.
As singing unaccompanied can be challenging, I have included chord symbols should you wish to invite a guitarist or keyboard player to accompany your rehearsals.
