This is NOT purely classical in style, or on an acoustic classical guitar. This is a metal version of Chopin on a distorted electric guitar. It makes an intensely complex classical piece very relatable to modern audiences though. The effects like distortion and delay really communicate Chopin's intentions well. I also like that I was able to control the amount of distortion with a foot pedal, so I could use distortion only on dissonant, painful passages, then turn my tone sweet for happier sections.
This recording goes hand and hand with the arrangement I made.
