This exciting arrangement of Classical Gas for Concert Band has all of the dynamic and rhythmic energy of the original pop-rock piece by Mason Williams. It's described as an Advanced Intermediate skill level piece because, although everyone has at least a little challenge, it’s still within the reach of a moderately advanced high school concert band. Many of the original intervals were written for orchestral strings but have been modified to be playable by high school wind players. The original switches between time signatures have been maintained, and are not difficult to do. This is a great piece for contest / festival.
