Timothy Stapay #1417539. Published by Timothy Stapay (A0.1857874)."Ciribiribin" is a merry Italian folk ballad, originally in three-quarter time, composed by Alberto Pestalozza in 1898 with lyrics by Carlo Tiochet. It quickly became popular and has been recorded by many artists. I arranged and performed this famous melody as played by piano artist, Carmen Cavallaro.
Carmen Cavallaro may best be remembered for his soundtrack recordings on "The Eddy Duchin Story," a 1956 film about the life of another highly successful society pianist. Carmen has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. He was a world class pianist who was famous during the 40's big-band era and beyond.
