Not a Christmas classic, but should be, this haunting tune by Leslie Bricusse tells the age-old tale of children's anticipation of Santa's arrival on Christmas morning. The text creates beautiful nostalgic images from an innocent child's perception, but reminds us that "Christmas is for children young and old." Cleverly inserted in the original song is a joyous "major key" statement of the Glorias from the beloved French carol "Angels We Have Heard On High."
