As most Christmas carol books have choral arrangements, with no bass clef melody, this arrangement was made for a solo beginner to intermediate cellist with 6 popular carols, both for enjoyment and for practice. The full range of the cello is used, with melodies dropping up or down an octave. Practice playing in several keys with familiar songs where you can hear your intonation. The piece gets just slightly more challenging on the second page with some easy shifting.
