Key: G Major / E minor
This is NOT and exact transcription of Robert Schumman's "Little Scenes on Four Notes - No. 12 - Chopin", though it is heavily inspired by it. I aspire to create music that is in the style of Chopin for guitar but that doesn't take a lifetime of training to play. Whether a few notes get changed here and there to make it flow on guitar is something I'm not super concerned about (though it makes me wonder if I should get a 7 string guitar for low piano bass notes!?).
Like a lot of Chopin's music, it is incredibly beautiful, drenched in emotion, and draws from a rich vocabulary of harmonies. It is also very novel (6/4 time signature has been very rare in my life).
