This is an arrangement of the Argentinian traditional song "Chocolate y café", for 4 voices SSAA, with optional "coffee" percussions : each voice, in addition to its vocal line, has a percussion line with different objects used for drinking coffee (cups, spoons, a pot filled with coffe beans, and a coffee pot).
Not everyone in each voice has to play percussions : it is possible for example to give percussions only to singers who feel up to it, and let the others simply sing, or even separate people who sing and others who play the percussions.

Ceci est un arrangement du chant traditionnel argentin "Chocolate y café", pour 4 voix SSAA, avec percussions optionnelles sur le thème du café : chaque voix possède, en plus de sa portée vocale, une portée pour les percussions, avec différents objets utilisés pour boire du café (des tasses ou des gobelets, des cuillers, un pot rempli de grains de café, et une cafetière).
Au sein de chaque voix, tout le monde n'est pas obligé de jouer des percussions : il est possible, par exemple, de donner des percussions uniquement aux chanteurs qui s'en sentent capables et de laisser les autres chanter simplement, ou même de séparer les personnes en un groupe qui chante et un qui joue des percussions.
