Original composition With the steady forward motion of a gentle ostinato, coupled with a rich, scripture-based text, Christian pilgrims are once again led in spirit to the manger at Bethlehem. The choral parts of the Two-Part Mixed composition are easy to master, and the optional bell line adds just the right amount of sparkle to the musical fabric. The Handbell/Handchime Part is included and reproducible.

Delightful piece
This was a very successful piece for our church choir annual pre-Christmas choral service. We used the two-part version and divided the singers into high and low voices. The only challenging parts were: in the low voice line at the start of the refrain, where the men had to come in at the top of their ranges on Child of Hope; and at the key change, which is not predicted in the accompaniment and just had to be practised until learnt. A very nice, manageable piece.
