Comprehensive Score for Vocal & Instrumental Insight
This transcribed score offers a deep dive into Chicago's intricate arrangements, invaluable for a vocal coach or collaborative pianist. Seeing all instrumental parts, especially the piano and horn lines, allows for a thorough understanding of the vocal support and overall texture. It's a fantastic resource for dissecting voice-leading and accompanying the Pop Rock genre accurately, though note the horn parts are transposed.

Finally Sound Like Chicago!
I've always wanted to play Chicago songs like "25 or 6 to 4" and "Make Me Smile," and this book lets me do it! The "intermediate" difficulty is a great challenge, but it's so rewarding to play the actual piano parts from the records. It's truly a note-for-note transcription, which makes practice enjoyable as I hear myself sounding just like the band. Highly recommend for any fan!

Chicago Transcribed Scores, Volume 1
This book is very detailed, and all parts are there if you wish to study them. It would be great for those who want to play the solo parts note-for-note. The mixed blessing is that the horn parts are already transposed. A boon to those players, a problem for someone like myself, who wanted to see the horn parts in concert key, so they can be voiced as a keyboard part! I'll have to transpose the parts back to concert key for this book to be useful to me. Musicians who are not acquainted with the whole concept and process will be extremely confused. So, be prepared!
