What I am now seeking is to combine a kind of natural simplicity with a complex modal and rhythmic language, an association that finds its full meaning and achieves balance within the clear and well-defined form of the chaconne.
La pièce « Chaconnitsa en Ré » adopte la forme d’une chaconne, tout en intégrant des rythmes composés et des modes issus de la tradition bulgare, démarche que j’expérimente depuis quelques années.
Ce que je recherche désormais, c’est à combiner une forme de simplicité naturelle à un langage modal et rythmique complexe, association qui prend tout son sens et atteint l’équilibre dans cette forme claire et définie qu’est la Chaconne.
