This piece begins with the performers clapping and breaks into a lively, toe-tapping Celtic jig. Followed by a sentimental and expressive middle section, which erupts back into the joyful jig. Excellent as an opener or closer, it's a real audience-pleaser. For 5 or 6 C flutes (optional piccolo), 4 C flutes with bass and/or alto flute, or flute choir.
