Composed by Richard Cioffari. This edition: pdf. 20th Century, March. 33 pages. Gordon Cherry #1445610. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1886971).Celebratory March for Brass Septet composed by Richard Cioffari was written and first performed by Gary Mortenson's University of Southwestern Louisiana Brass Ensemble in 1989 for their appearance at the New York Brass Festival.
As its name reveals, the march is joyous and bright and even harkens back to those glorious works of Elgar with feelings of strength, nobility and honor.
Instrumentation is for 2 each of Trumpets in B-flat, Horns, Trombones and one Tuba. This great work of about 5 minutes in length is suitable for moderately advanced performers.
