Taking for her inspiration the refrain used by Helen Kemp in her presentation on children's choir methods, Sue Ellen Page has composed an effective setting with additional text by her husband, Eric. This is one of four anthems commissioned by Westminster Choir College for the second Festival of Singing Children to be premiered in May 1987 in Princeton, New Jersey. The addition of percussion instruments and flute give a colorful spirit to the anthem. The changing meters should not be difficult to teach, and the changing keys help build to a stunning climax. Composer: Page, Sue Ellen Text Author: Johnson, Eric D. and Kemp, Helen.
