It tells of a true story of Michael and Rita Woods and how they fell in love.
The orginal song won the Cavan International Song contest in 1979.
This arrangement is based on the version sung by Emmet Cahill which was arranged by David Munro. The piano part of his arrangement has been adapted for use in this version with his kind permission.
This TTBB version is dedicated to the St Joseph's School Choir, Hong Kong, who sang the premiere in February 2025 as part of the Hong Kong Inter-School Choral Festival.
