- Standard jazz ensemble instrumentation, but playable with 4 saxes (A-A-T-T), 3 trumpets, and 3 trombone. Written-out (with changes) piano and bass. Optional parts for tuba and vibraphone.
- Brass written range: Trumpet E-5 with optional G-5; Trombone E-flat 4
