Christmas Eve Music
I purchased this piece because our clarinet quartet was asked to play at the Christmas Eve service. I wanted something interesting to play but wasn't too difficult to play. This fit the bill. It's the basic melody, and the middle section transitions into an interesting diversion from a typical setting of Carol of the Bells. I liked this because every part had an opportunity to lead and be heard. You need a confident 4th clarinetist because the part has some important phrases. The second clarinet part does the heavy lifting. I did not time the piece, but I can estimate it took approx 2 - 3 minutes.
