In this setting for four octaves of handbells or handbells + handchimes, it becomes a beautiful lullaby with a soaring melody and rich harmonies. Playing the diamond-shaped notes on handchimes gives added texture and interest.
Relatively simple rhythms make this arrangement easily accessible to a bell choir accustomed to playing Level 3 music and can even be mastered by a good Level 2 choir.
