Matthew Wozniak #1096330. Published by Matthew Wozniak (A0.1522548).An arrangement of Caravan (made recently famous by the movie Whiplash) that was requested by my lead drummer. The base drum beat is Latin inspired requiring Drum Kit, Claves, and Congas (although bongos, timbales, or even rototoms can be substituted to the same effect).
The intended grade level is about Grade 1 to 2 depending on what tempo you take it at.
Bass instruments follow the same line except for a low melody shared by Baritone Sax, and Euphonium. I would have Baritone Horns play the Euphonium part for balance.
Trumpet 1 can be brought down an octave if needed, but my trumpet players want to try.
With intense practice, this should be achievable by a first or second year band, because many parts are repeated.
