Samuel Scheidt was an organist and composer. Scheidt was born in Halle-on Saale where was baptized on Novemeber 4, 1587, and died there March 24, 1684. Scheidt was a pupil of Jan Piryrtdxoon Sweelinck in Amsterdam. It is interesting to note the dates of Scheidt are similar but precede J. S. Bach by 100 years. Arranged by George Rowe IV.
