Just before "Canticum Zacchariae" it is sung "Liberame Domine, eternal death, ..." and "In paradisum: deducant Angeli ...". "Canticum Zacchariae" sums up the hope placed on eternal life and which Luke tells in his youth gospel of Jesus.
