Solid Study, Less for Immediate Gig Use
For C instrumentalists, this Omnibook is a fantastic collection of Cannonball's solos. The spiral binding is a lifesaver on gigs for easy page turns. Chord symbols are accurately included, crucial for analysis. While the precise transcriptions are excellent for deep study and developing vocabulary, it's more for learning specific solos than a quick lead sheet for impromptu requests. Still, an indispensable practice tool.
