It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the "Galop Infernal" from "Orpheus in the Underworld".
The comic opera (original French title: "Orphée aux enfers") premiered in Paris in 1858 and was a huge success.
For the final scene, Offenbach composed an instrumental piece to accompany the "can-can", a very popular dance at the time.
Titled "Galop Infernal", the catchy piece became one of his most celebrated compositions and the most famous Can-Can ever written (often named "THE Can-Can")...
