By The Mamas And The Papas. By John Phillips and Michelle Phillips. Arranged by Steven Griffin. This edition: pdf. Pop. 9 pages. Steven Griffin #1123516. Published by Steven Griffin (A0.1551098).CAMBIATA 3 part choir (C1, C2, Baritone)
A version of the famous 60s hit for a choir of boys with changing voices aged roughly 11-14. The parts have a limited range of notes suitable for boys whose voices are either just changing, in the middle of changing, or are newly changed. The melody is in Cambiata 1 throughout so depending on the number of singers and their (potentially changing halfway through the rehearsal process!) this arrangement could be adapted to be unison melody, or two part with melody and one of either Cambiata 2 or Baritone being sung, whilst still retaining a feel of the original.
Though intended for boys voices, any voices of the correct range could sing this version.
This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
