This resource teaches guitarists about the unique structure and sound of each C mode, by learning a 2-bar melody in C Ionian mode, then subsequently altering it to fit each of the other C modes (C Dorian, C Phrygian, C Lydian, C Mixolydian, C Aeolian, and C Locrian). It explains the connection between each mode and its corresponding chord. A unique way for guitarists to learn to understand not only how to play each C mode, but to hear and feel the different tonal colors of each.
