Pretty, easy piece
This is a lovely piece that should be a pleasant experience for any church choir. Don't expect, though, that it is genuine or authentic work by Marcello -- there's more Adler here than Marcello. That's okay, though: Adler was clearly a capable choral composer, himself. This work, though, falls into the grey area between being an arrangement by Adler of a piece by Marcello, and being a piece by Adler based on a theme by Marcello.
