In this arrangement for beginner string trio, Brian Crain's charming melody is shared between the first and second violin parts. The cello mostly in a supporting role, with pizzicato and foundational tones, has some harmonic interjections to add interest.
For the true beginners, the key of F major will extend their technique with new fingering patterns across all strings (all in first or half position) - suggested fingerings are included in the parts. The mood is set with all parts featuring legato string crossing and slurs.
Aimed at young musicians some ensemble experience. This arrangement would be equally satisfying for more experienced groups looking for a delightful musical interlude.
