In Broadway Impressions, American-oriented music calls the tune. The introduction, which is lively and spectacular, immediately immerses us in the atmosphere of Broadway. All the sections of the band are presented with solo intermezzi for trumpet, clarinet and percussion interrupt the flow of the piece. The work is concluded in a finale that takes us back to the initial theme - this time enhanced more abundantly. A fantastic tribute to the great musical scene that is Broadway and one not to be missed!
In Broadway Impressions heeft de muziek een Amerikaans tintje. De levendige en spectaculaire inleiding dompelt ons onder in de atmosfeer van Broadway, waarbij alle secties van het orkest worden gepresenteerd. De trompetsolo,de klarinetsolo en de slagwerksolo vormen drie imtermezzi die de voortgang van het werk onderbreken. Het werk sluit af met een finale die ons meeneemt naar het aanvankelijke thema - maar nu in een overvloediger jasje.
Die lebhafte, spektakuläre Einleitung lässt den Zuhörer unmittelbar in die Atmosphäre der berühmten Theater- und Musikmeile New Yorks eintauchen, wobei alle Register des Blasorchesters vorgestellt werden. Die Soli für Trompete, Klarinette und Schlagzeug bilden drei Intermezzi, die den Fluss des Werkes unterbrechen. Das eindrucksvolle Finale führt zurück zum Eingangsthema. Ein Broadway würdiger Auftritt im amerikanischen Stil!
Broadway Impressions est une œuvre aux parfums de la musique américaine. L’introduction est pétillante et spectaculaire. La musique nous immerge magnifiquement dans les ambiances de Broadway. Chaque pupitre dévoile ses cartes. Trois solos instrumentaux (trompette, clarinette, percussion) forment autant d’intermezzi qui interrompent la continuité de l’œuvre. Broadway Impressions se conclut sur un finale qui reprend le matériel thématique initial dans un schéma plus ample.
