Bring Forth Your Offerings - trombone quartet (or euphoniums/tuba) by Camille Saint-Saens Brass Quartet - Digital Sheet Music

By Camille Saint-Saens

"Bring Forth Your Offerings" ("Tollite Hostias") is the tenth and final movement from the Oratorio de Noël, or Christmas Oratorio, by Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921).Saint-Saëns scored the work for soloists, chorus, organ, strings, and harp, choosing a variety of verses from Scripture that not only recount the birth of Jesus but also reflect on the significance and meaning of the Incarnation and Nativity of Christ. He completed it in less than two weeks, and just 10 days prior to its premiere in 1858.This arrangement transcribes the chorus from the final movement, transposing the key from G Major to a sonorous and trombone-friendly B-flat Major, and adding dynamics and articulations that bring contrast and variety to performance of the work.Includes score and parts for trombones 1-3, bass trombone (trombone 1 part provided in both tenor and bass clefs)©Copyright 2020 Todd Marchand / Con Spirito Music.
