This is Wagner's "Bridal Chorus" ("Bridal March;" "Here Comes the Bride...") from his opera "Lohengrin." It is a march generally played for a traditional bridal entrance at formal weddings. It is very regal and the music is instantly recognizable. In fact, people will automatically stand for the bride upon hearing the familiar opening measures of the melody. This String Trio arrangement is for meant for a chamber group consisting of Violin, Viola, Cello - but included also is a Violin II part to be used by a violinist if the Trio is 2 violins plus cello.
