Nostalgic Fun for Community Bands!
What a blast playing "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy"! As an adult community band member, this Grade 2 arrangement by Michael Sweeney was so much fun and perfectly achievable for our group. It really captures the classic swing feel of the Andrews Sisters and Bette Midler versions. Our trumpet section loved being the stars, and we all enjoyed sounding so good.

Excellent for Young Concert Bands
This Michael Sweeney arrangement of "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" is a fantastic choice for Grade 2 concert bands. The parts are clearly engraved and thoughtfully voiced, making it accessible for young musicians. It's excellent for introducing authentic swing style and rhythm, especially with the featured trumpet section. My students loved working on it!

Boogie Woogie Bugle Boiy
This arrangement grows on the musicians and on the audience. We even had requests to play it with our Christmas program. It reads well with the 30 member Letter Carrier's band and is a full enough arrangement to sound good with my 12 piece German' band. Only a few minor 'tweaks' needed to get essential parts covered. A real winner!
