Composed by Maurice Ravel. Arranged by Paul Taylor. This edition: pdf. 19th Century. Score. 3 pages. Paul Taylor #1148678. Published by Paul Taylor (A0.1577015).This is one of Ravel's better known compositions whose melody came from a lullaby his mother used to sing to him and the rhythm inspired by the machines in his father's factory. It was used as incidental music to a dramatic work in which a Spanish woman danced so fervently in a tavern that the men were incited to love her and fought for her attention.
