Bluster Concert Band - Sheet Music

The winds in foothill communities throughout southern California are often unpredictable and sometimes quite fierce. They can come and go in an instant or blow relentlessly all day. Bluster seeks to musically portray these wild winds in this colorful and energetic work. In addition to the rain stick, palm fronds may be shaken in the percussion section to give a visual depiction of the wind. The minor harmonies create some neat sounds students would not usually encounter until a higher grade level. There is a great variety of articulation and dynamics that captures the energy of fierce winds perfectly - The Instrumentalist

Excellent piece of music

I purchased this for our small jr sr high band, which only has about 14 people and we all love it!!! It is very well written with parts and instrumentation, and it sounds very full even with our limited instrumentation and members. I am so glad we purchased this!

great!!!!!!

Im 12 and in a school band. We r playing this piece for our spring concert. I love it! its all smooth in the beggining but then it turns spooky then to like a battlefield song then it turns to very lively and graceful. I play trombone and i luv the part where it gets very strong if u know what i mean. well anyway, it is a great piece. cant wait to play it in my concert!
