Wrote this one way back in 2010. #funnystory, I had this #swing #midtempo version in mind and a slower more #singableversion that i drew up but haven't finished yet. It was inspired originally by me staring out the back door to my apartment when I was at #CSUSB. It was getting dark, a bluish hue and raining. I wrote the song while looking out the window in between breaks from #instrumental #conducting #practiceon the way to see #thesinger#artgarfunkel in #concert in January that year. I was thinking his #voicewould be perfect for this!

It could have been partially inspired by listening to Garfunkel's 2007 album "Some Enchanted Evening." I started #writing #songs that were like the #easylistening style tracks on his album. Just a little history .
