This is a very easy piano version of the first section of the Beatles "Birthday" song. It's great for teaching the basics of a rock I IV V pattern, with its well-known, fun baseline. The left hand is written out with Alpha-Notes as it goes beyond the reading notes for many first year piano students. The right hand is standard notation but only has two notes in the melody. A teaching suggestion would be to start by learning the Left Hand bass line alone.
