My 12 year old son is a huge fan of 80's music, so this seemed like a great book for him. We were very much looking forward to him playing Piano Man. When I opened the book this morning, I noticed there were no words to the songs. As I started to play, I, who grew up with Billy Joel, hardly recognized the songs. I guess the jazz flair should have tipped me off, but considering Billy Joel is a composer, I thought I couldn't go wrong. This book was a huge disappointment, and a waste of money for us. I will be looking for a new book. It fits as intermediate, so if that's all you are looking for, it will work for you. If you are just looking for jazz music, I guess you would like it. If you're looking for great Billy Joel music, avoid this book like the plague.
