Laufey’s hit song and album, “Bewitched” have lead to a wave of popularity and sold out arena concerts throughout the country. I am personally thrilled by the positive influence that her music is having on the youth (and older folks like me). This arrangement for string ensemble was written to further that impact by allowing aspiring musicians to perform her music in the original key with their friends. This arrangement was designed to work as an instrumental piece or as accompaniment to the optional vocal part. It also works with my arrangement for band instruments-same key. Optional rhythm section parts (piano, electric bass and changes on the bass part for guitar) are included in case the band wishes to supplement. Throughout my career, students amazed me by playing challenging music when they were familiar with the song or style. I sincerely hope you and your students enjoy this arrangement!
