Written a few weeks after the planetary alignment in 2025, and filling a long held desire to write a piece that in some form addressed the ancient Greek philosophical concept of musica universalis (the music of the spheres).
Text is from the poem "Harmony of the Spheres" by Ravishankar Venkatraman Kandasamy. The electronic sounds were prepared from my own theoretical rendering of the pitches that could be produced by the orbits and rotations of the planets in our Solar System. The effects are played between the verses of the Kandasamy's poem and sometimes accompany the choir.
Audio files of electronic effects are availble upon request.
