Great for the very beginner
This book is fabulous for the very beginner violinist. Starts at the very beginning of note reading and writing. The only complaint is that the eighth note and sixteenth note flags are not standard and the stems on the 3rd line are pointing up-- acceptable, but barely. Other than than, it's a lot of repetition of notes on the staff, which is very helpful to the starting musician.
