Productions (A0.894133).This song is based on the 12 bar Blues progression in the key of C. Of interest is the right hand playing the flat 3rd. to the major 3rd. for each chord. Eb to E on the C chord, Ab to A on the F chord and Bb to B on the G chord, typical of the Blues sound.
The left hand is playing a Blues bass pattern alternating the notes of the 1 and 5 and 1 and 6 of each chord. A swing rhythm is used for the song.
The fingering used in the first measure is to be used throughout the piece.
For anyone learning to play the Blues, it is important to listen to the great Blues musicians which will help you in developing your Blues musical skills. Didn't get what I expected in my download !!
It's a good product. However, like the other Beginner Blues Exercises (1, 2, 4) I purchased (and downloaded) I'm not sure I got everything. The online previews suggest they are Samples and yet when I download I only got the one page (ie. the sample?), exactly as shown on the web page. The sample audio, includes more than the one page. I'm confused as to what I should have received in my downloads.
