A piano piece for someone who is starting to learn to play the Blues. The left hand is playing a bass line consisting of the 1st., flat 3rd., 3rd., 5th. and 6th. notes of each chord while the right hand is playing a melodic line consisting of the root note, flat 7th., 6th., 5th. and 6th. notes of the chord with the 3rd. of the chord below the melodic line. The fingering used in the first measure is to be used throughout the piece.
The audio track consists of the piano part played along with a full band rhythm backing track followed by 4 choruses of the rhythm backing track to practice along with.
For anyone learning to play the Blues, it is important to listen to the great Blues musicians which will help you in developing your Blues musical skills. I have created a Spotify playlist of over 400 Blues songs many of which greatly influenced me. Please follow the playlist if you enjoy listening to it.
