Wonderful Interpretation!
This beautiful sonata is one of Beethoven's lesser known sonatas, and my piano teacher first taught me this sonata when I was 14 years old. I'm now 70 and retired, and I decided to play the piano again after being away from it for decades. It's like being a beginner again, but I persevere. Over the years I've heard many different interpretations of this sonata; Mr. Taub's interpretation is excellent. My old Peters Edition of Beethoven's Sonatas has fallen apart. I'll eventually replace it with the new Urtext edited by Claudia Arrau. This performance edition is, indeed, well done, and I'll probably buy many more because the CD is outstanding.
