This tear-jerking poetic ballad has the French Horn feature in the introduction before the first Trumpet takes the lead with Trombone adding countermelodies, the roles are then swapped.
The French Horn enters in the chorus with some soaring octave jumps were the two trumpets take the lead and the Trombone descends. The piece becomes gentle near the end where the Tuba shines with a solo.
Great to play at a celebration like a wedding or out on the bandstand - “Certain as the sun, rising in the east, tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme. Beauty and the beast”.
