Composed by John Purifoy. Arranged by Peet du Toit. This edition: pdf. Romantic Period. 8 pages. Peet du Toit #1182731. Published by Peet du Toit (A0.1902004).Mendelssohn's oratorio, Elijah (Op. 70), no. 22 of Act II as a Chorus:
Fürchte dich nicht, spricht unser Gott (meaning Be not afraid, saith God the Lord)
with Isaiah 41:10 & Psalm 91:7 from the Holy Bible as sources and reference/contex.
I regard this as a favourable addition to my other arrangements pertaining to Elijah. The 1st Trumpet plays the melody to give the Trombone a break before the It Is Enough area (solo, no. 26).
