He had been sitting on it for months when, in the spring of 2020, a devastating tornado swept through Nashville — and then, two weeks later, the world found itself in the grip of a global pandemic. Rhett released it on his 30th birthday, March 30, 2020, with proceeds going to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. The song features Reba McEntire, Hillary Scott, Keith Urban, and Chris Tomlin, and peaked at number two on the Country Airplay chart. As the closing number of Y’All Means All, Maddux’s TTBB arrangement carries an additional layer of meaning: the final choruses are overlaid with the main motif of Miranda Lambert’s “Y’All Means All,” weaving the revue’s title song back in as a benediction. A roof-raiser and a circle-closer.
