Amazing edition
I have Ekier (PWM) and this edition and while Ekier edition is the 'absolute', I would not give up this edition entirely because of the performance perspective of the work. The biggest strength is the fingering, which is so well conceived that I changed very little. Comparing to Henle and Ekier, their edition is littered with near impossible finger substitutions which make clumsy sounds no matter how smoothly (and quickly!) the substitutions are done. Unfortunately, this is an Alfred edition so errors are bound to exist--there are only two: bar 27 the three sixteenth notes should be eight notes, and missing # on the first (and little note) A. Right now, I just copy most of the fingering from this edition on to Ekier and now I have a perfect edition!

Chopin Barcarolle, Op. 60
This is not a review as such, since it is my own edition. I just wish to point out to prospective buyers that the musical text is in places somewhat different from some other editions. This is because I have chosen as the main source the rediscovered, neat and orderly autograph in the British Library, rather than the one in the Warsaw Library. The latter had been the source of most older editions, including the so-called Paderewski edition--from which many of us first learned this work.
