Sax section: 16th note runs, unis. and harmonized, up to over a measure. Lead Alto; Jessie's solo, altissimo notes. Bari, low A key.
Trumpet section: Glisses, doits, falls. Lead, multiple Ds; Arianna's solo.
Trombone section: Alternate positions for lots of glisses, section high note G4 (lead high note C5). Nicki's solo.
Rhythm: Piano, guitar, organ; 2 drum sets, panned hand claps.
Although this arrangement is pretty much a "record-copy," it's original R&B style is a great theme, waiting for a rich, Big Band sound, and other chordal variations.
This arrangement will challenge your group. It's essentially a record copy (original key), with added jazz chord progressions and section voicing.
